Nursery Manager – Hannah Welding

Hannah has a level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years and has worked with children since 2007 in various settings. She is originally from Derby and worked for five years in a school environment mainly based in an Early Years Reception class, and also at Y Plan where she worked with children who had special needs.

When Hannah moved to Widnes she worked for Daisy Maisies at the Appleton site and then furthered her experience working at a school in Wigan.

Hannah has a young family of her own now and is excited to be back working with the company.

Deputy Nursery Manager – Amy Halliwell

Amy is an experienced Deputy manager and has worked with children for over ten years, qualifying in 2005 with a BTEC National Diploma in early years. Since then Amy has furthered her education and is now qualified to level 4 in Children’s Care, Learning & Development. Amy has worked with children of all age groups and is committed to ensuring they have a safe and  stimulating place to learn and progress.

Gemma Warnick – Acting Deputy Manager

My name is Gemma and I am currently Acting Deputy Manager. I have been in childcare settings since 2013 starting as an apprentice and qualifying as a level 3 Childcare Practitioner. I started working for Daisy Maisies in 2016 when the setting first opened. I have helped welcome many families into the nursery and settle their children. I am First Aid trained and have the relevant safeguarding training. 

Daryhl Lewis – Third In Charge/ Room Leader

Jodie Harrison – Room Leader

I’m Jodie and I have worked with children since qualifying in a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2009. I have worked in two previous childcare settings across all age ranges. I started working at Daisy Maisies in April 2017 and I am currently a Room Leader. I really enjoy my time here, seeing the children thrive and achieve. The support of the other staff is great and together we work well as a team.

Vicky Martin – Room Leader

I have worked with children since 2008 in various settings. I have a BSc in Educational Psychology and I am a qualified Early Years Teacher. I spent three years living in Italy teaching English as a second language and also as a private English Tutor. I am very passionate about play in early years.

Jennifer Janion – Room Leader

My name is Jennifer Janion. I have worked in childcare since 2004. I began working as an Ofsted Registered Childminder, looking after children from birth to 11 years of age. I began working at Daisy Maisies in October 2017 as a Nursery Nurse and was lucky enough to become a Room Leader in February 2018. My qualification is level 4 Higher Professional Diploma in Early Years, Level 2 Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid.

Carole Pierce – Deputy Room Leader

Hi my name is Carole and I work in the Toddler Room as the Deputy Room Leader. I am a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner. I have worked with children since 2008 and began at Daisy Maisies in May 2017. I have a fabulous time coming into work with all the support of the team and the children.  

Our team also consists of Nursery Practitioners with a wealth of experience in early years and our Nursery Chefs who produce our nutritious and delicious menu that caters for children’s individual needs.
